Own the carnage!

The DROPBEAR 2-Disc Special Edition is now available to pre-order on DVD and Blu-ray.

If you’ve been waiting to bring DROPBEAR home, the wait is officially over.

Pre-orders are now live for the DROPBEAR 2 Disc Special Edition on DVD and Blu-ray, with the release landing on 18 June.

It’s been a strange, wild and genuinely rewarding ride getting this film out into the world. From the first trailer drop, to the premiere screening, to regional cinema dates and all the messages, reviews, shares and support along the way, DROPBEAR has had the kind of journey that only happens because people get behind an independent film and push it forward.

That’s a big part of why this home media release matters to us.

For a film like this, physical media is more than just another format. It’s the chance for the movie to live on properly. It’s the shelf copy. The rewatch. The version you throw on with friends. The one that sits in a collection beside the weird, scrappy, chaotic genre films that inspired it in the first place.

So we wanted to make sure this wasn’t just a bare-bones release.

The 2 Disc Special Edition has been put together as a proper release for the people who enjoyed the film and wanted more of it. Alongside the feature, there’s a full second disc of bonus material that digs further into the making of the film and the chaos behind it. If you enjoyed the world of DROPBEAR, the characters, the low-budget insanity, or just wanted to see how any of this got made in the first place, this edition is for you.

We’re also really pleased to have Hilldale Entertainment handling the home media release and helping get it out there.

Whether you came to a screening, followed the film online, supported the release from day one, or just discovered it recently, we wanted to make sure there was a version people could actually own.

One of the best things about this whole experience has been seeing how people have responded to the film. We’ve had horror fans, B-movie lovers, regional audiences, and even plenty of people who walked in thinking it probably wouldn’t be their thing, only to come out saying they had a great time with it. That’s been one of the most satisfying parts of the whole release.

DROPBEAR was always made to be fun. It was made to lean into the joke, push it too far, and hopefully give people a genuinely entertaining ride in the process. So getting to this stage, where the film now gets a proper DVD and Blu-ray release, feels pretty special.

If you know someone who missed the cinema run, has been waiting to watch it, or just loves owning physical releases, feel free to send them the link as well.

Thanks again for supporting the film. Independent genre movies only get to keep moving when people back them, talk about them, and keep them alive beyond the first screening. We don’t take that lightly.

Bring it home.

Own the carnage.
